2.Before downloading Unity you need have good pc to run things so lets look at some of the recommendations

Unity windiws requiresmenst 2.png

It probably best to have a powerful graphics card to run VR you need more than 4GB of VRam (Vram is the amount of memory on graphics card and NOT the ram in you PC.) And Good cpu like Ryzen 5 or 7 or intel equivalent.

The best I would go go with are Amd 6700xt with 12GB Vram or 3060 Ti or 3070 as of right now.

link to 6700 XT on best buy https://www.bestbuy.com/site/xfx-speedster-swft309-amd-radeon-rx-6700-xt-12gb-gddr6-pci-express-4-0-gaming-graphics-card-black/6457626.p?skuId=6457626

link to 3060 TI https://www.bestbuy.com/site/evga-nvidia-geforce-rtx-3060-ti-ftw3-gaming-8gb-gddr6-pci-express-4-0-graphics-card-lhr/6479524.p?skuId=6479524

link to 3070 https://www.bestbuy.com/site/evga-nvidia-geforce-rtx-3070-8gb-xc3-ultra-gaming-gddr6-pci-express-4-0-graphics-card-with-lhr/6477077.p?skuId=6477077

For those who want maybe a more prebuilt pc (though a tad expensive these are the cheapest prebuilt pcs that are out there to help you run VR games.)

this the cheapest I could find on 3060 Ti https://www.bestbuy.com/site/clx-set-gaming-desktop-amd-ryzen-5-3600-16gb-memory-nvidia-geforce-rtx-3060-ti-240gb-ssd-2tb-hdd/6444778.p?skuId=6444778

And the cheapest 6700xt

(side note the only reason I m not placing amazon here is they can be little iffy as right not)

Click the operating system you have and download Unity Hub, and put where you want it on your pc.

Download Unity Hub instructions 2.png

Unity Hub

1. Once Unity hub is installed on your pc, double click on the unity hub shortcut sign into the account you created

2.Under Projects (Yours will be blank) is called installs click that

Unity Hub Pic 2.png

a. Installs are different versions of Unity, you can think of them similar to a windows update for the Unity program, this does not mean old installs are bad or outdated just means that the new versions have new features or bug fixes

b. Don't worry about the pre installs (not sure what that is) on the far right of the picture

c. The the next pic one to the left is the official installs of Unity, these means these are versions of unity supported by the website and certain VR apps require certain versions of Unity to make those worlds possible

d. The fourth one is called all, and this list all the unity versions you have.

3.Down below Installs you see a Learn section and in the photo below is what it looks likes.

Unity Hub Pic 3.png

This this includes featured which are tutorials from Unity to help you learn more about unity and how it works, Recommend is probably what Unity recommends and downloads (not sure for that one myself).

If you like to learn more or find more tutorials you visit this site for even more tutorials on unity works https://learn.unity.com

4.This a community page to find answers to your questions, Upatates Unity is doing getting in touch with the community on the forums or play some games by the community.

Unity Hub Pic 4.png

5.This the final thing about Unity Hub where you see a list of your projects below and the Unity version they have

Unity Hub Pic 5.png

You see there a name, the drive it stored in and the days it was worked on, its unity version as well, just keep in mind these take up alot of space so have big Hard drive or ssd like 3TB (tybrates or more) if on a budget 1TB should be good for the time being.
